Worst AR Moment: 1st paddle of 2007 Baja Travesia Expedition Race. 10-20 foot waves 40 knot winds. 1/2 the teams were rescued by the Mexican Navy, 9 boats lost or damaged beyond repair.
Best AR Moment: 1st paddle of 2007 Baja Travesia Expedition Race. Neptune and the AR Gods were with us. We made it to the end of this paddle section in one piece. TIP: If you ever see me scared while paddling we shouldn’t be in the water!
